Why I Came Out of Retirement for Dinosaur Coffees & Teas

The Legend of the Chief Hydrator

From the Paluxy Mud to Your Morning Mug

My name is Nelson Roberts, and I’m the Founder and Chief Hydrator here at DinosaurBrew.com. I live in Glen Rose, Texas—the undisputed Dinosaur Capital of Texas. I’m a retiree (mostly), and, above all, a dedicated coffee drinker.

The spark for this coffee madness happened just as I was preparing for retirement.

You see, I heard the legendary tale of the wild Luwak civets of Indonesia. These little guys have the most discerning palates in the world; they eat only the ripest coffee cherries, process them through their digestive systems, and... well, "deposit" them. The resulting Kopi Luwak coffee is famous for being the smoothest, least bitter brew on the planet, thanks to those special digestive enzymes.

The problem? I didn’t have any civets. And believe me, they don’t sell civets at the local feed store in Glen Rose.

The solution? I looked down. Right there, in the sunbaked dinosaur tracks along the Paluxy River, lay the history of the giants. I set out on a mission: to excavate the ancient, fossilized 'energy' of dinosaur history, rehydrate the spirit of the Cretaceous, and then roast it to prehistoric perfection.

The "Dino Poop" Difference

That mission birthed our broad line of DinosaurBrew coffees and teas.

Now, for the legal folks: No dinosaurs (or their fossilized 'energy') were actually harmed or brewed in the making of this coffee. While our backstory is 103 million years in the making, our beans are actually sourced from a world-class roaster in California, roasted fresh when you order and shipped the next day. This promises the freshest brew and the premium taste; you provide the imagination for your story.

Whether you’re sharing the "Dino Poop" legend with your grandkids or gifting a bag of "Prehistoric Roast" to a friend or customer, you’re sharing a story that’s as bold as the brew itself.

Welcome to DinosaurBrew. Stay hydrated.
